I’m Mirabela Lauterbach, founder of Elevate Brands, a boutique consultancy based in Zurich, Switzerland. For more than a decade, I built my career in corporate travel retail, where I had the privilege of pioneering the global expansion of niche brands such as Bellápierre Cosmetics and Micro Mobility across duty-free, cruise, and airline channels. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of how powerful travel retail can be as a gateway for brands to connect with international audiences.
Driven by a passion for sustainability, authenticity, and cultural storytelling, I founded Elevate Brands with a mission to reimagine what luxury in travel retail can mean. Today, I focus on guiding artisan and ethically sourced luxury labels into the global arena, ensuring their stories resonate with discerning travellers who value purpose as much as prestige.
As an active member of Women in Travel Retail (WiTR), I’ve seen how transformative it is when brands go beyond the transactional. I don’t simply place products, I curate experiences that inspire emotion and create lasting connections. Every encounter between a traveller and a brand is an opportunity to build meaning, and Elevate Brands exists to make those encounters unforgettable.
